FrogEnchantress chapter 10 . 10/6/2019 I really missed not having sex scenes. It was rushed but not a bad story at all |
ObsidianDraconis chapter 10 . 5/3/2019 I kinda wish we’d seen where everyone else was, besides the brothers, Leah, and Sam. Jake was such an integral part of Bella’s life it feels weird that he wasn’t mentioned at all in the end. This was a good story though, full of so much humanity. |
ObsidianDraconis chapter 9 . 5/3/2019 Went from tears in my eyes and my heart aching to a huge smile! |
ObsidianDraconis chapter 8 . 5/3/2019 Is wrong of me to want to smack him? He’s done exactly what Edward would do. Take away her choices, not talk to her about things, not explain. What if she wants to be the one to “fix” him? What if she wants to be with him despite his brokenness? And he’s taken that choice away from her. I want to smack him upside his big dumb head. |
ObsidianDraconis chapter 7 . 5/3/2019 I figure that the wolf just goes dormant sort of like you described in your author’s note. We know for a fact they can phase again at anytime in the future, that’s canon. Taha Aki did it when his tribe was in need and Billy watched Ephraim, Levi, and Quil II phase one more time when they were old men (that’s mentioned in the illustrated guide I just read it today). So the wolf never truly leaves, but they stop phasing at some point so surely it has to go dormant in a way. I don’t think imprints would break, or at least I don’t think any wolf with one would lose their imprint because frankly I feel like the imprint is more than just a “breeding” program. I feel though that not all of them are romantic in nature, look at Paul and Wendy, but that the ones that are were made because the man needed a little push in the right direction and that the woman truly was his best suited mate. I know Jared never really saw Kim but maybe one day when they were older he might have, maybe Leah and Sam never would have lasted past college even though they were in love there for a while. Maybe Quil and Claire would have come together eventually through another means and become friends. Who knows really. But yeah, I can see the wolf going dormant, opening up the man to be pretty much human again with all the human weaknesses and frailties. It’ll be interesting to see if they remain friends, if Emily comes back to Sam. I don’t think he should be back with Leah, especially not with the mentions of Leah’s feelings for Embry. Clearly she hasn’t imprinted on Embry and her feelings are genuine. |
