If Beth had a weapon she could *hijack* or commander the sleigh Radagast has and force the bird poop wizard to drive her to the nearest settlement.

I think Thorin would quickly figure out the gun propels something forward but until he sees the ammo he would wonder what the weapon would *shoot* since the hole is not the right fit for an arrow.

I take it that the Dwarves represent Conservatives while Gandalf is liberal extremist. Saruman is more of a middle of the road wishy washy that could go either way and not sure where he really wants to be but should've stuck to the middle road.

It's too bad the search engines don't show any stories post 2012.

Pretty awesome story you've got here. You haven't updated since 2014 so I guess your muse up and left you or you got busy or you may have died which is horrible really...anyway I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed the language barrier and time concept as well as the entire story in general. I hope it isn't too much to ask for an update?

I just wanted you to know that this was an excellent read. I loved that you gave Beth a connection to Middle Earth and that she can't speak Westron. Even if you never update this fic again, it was a great read and I know I'll read it again.
