This was brilliant.

The dragon is so very like Godric I wonder if he set up a scholarship for those who love dragons as a way to get the a Dragon back at Hogwarts. I can't imagine how else Hagtid got to go to Hogwarts and it would explain why Charlie Weasley gave up playing for England. His parents told him to love Dragons just to get the scholarship yet he found his calling.

I loved how Salazar dealt with the dragon such a Slytherin method fighting dragon's is silly, dangerous, bad for the school and a waste given how formidable and handy Dragons could be in a war. I wonder if Salazar was inspired to creat a basilisk ffrom this experence.

I bet this story would make up Slytherin life lessons and story books.

I do think Godric would be obstinate I wonder if the ability to talk to snakes was given a bad name because of Godric or his students picking up on his upset.

Super cool idea! Although interestingly enough it's been said on Pottermore that Hufflepuff common room doesn't have a password. They have this hidden entrance or something (I forget, I'm not a Hufflepuff). Still a really cool story though. (:
