Interesting. Definitely much more than just a background reversal as Janeway has really significant attitude issues. I'm also curious about how some other differences will turn out, like Seska.

I came across your profile and as I prefer to do, I started at the beginning of your work. I know you wrote this 15 years ago but I have to say this story is awesome. I love your AU and I didn't want to put it down. It's so well written and your characters all feel real and complex. I was thrilled when I finished this one and saw that you posted 3 more stories in this AU. Needless to say I had to read all of them (and look through every other story to see if there were any more) before I could pause to thank you for writing this.

Ohhhhh this is getting better and better! Love that piece between janeway and B'Elanna, like watching a tennis match. And the way she switches from bad-to-the-bone to oh-so-nice - brilliant. Especially love that last comment of hers.

The way you wrote that pool scene is brilliant. How you speed up the story with those short sentences and the way you make the reader feel how unsure Kathryn feels by making her think one thing in the first and the opposite in the next sentence. It's just so real life!

I just love it when Janeway shows a little "bad to the bone" attitude. It's so much more fun when she just gives into her moods and shows the big guys "where the hammer's hanging", as we say here.

You know I gotta say...I really don't like Kes. Her voice drives me crazy and she seems so...perfect. Have you ever noticed that she never made a mistake in the series? And she's the only who who has never been repermended(sp?). Even 7 of 9 and Neelix has been reprimended. She's just too dang naive and happy sappy for my liking.

Just want ed to say that to someone. :)
