Okay, this is just bad, really bad in fact.

It's the typical Amy gets her heart broken by Sonic and jumps at Shadow cause he's hot and nice to her while Sonic is an asshole who hates her, oh sorry, doesn't care about her. Only you have shorten it down to hours instead of the typical day or week these kind fics normally spend on her getting over her massive crush.

Not only does it make her seem fantastically shallow that her love can switch from Sonic to Shadow just like that, but then you also go and make Sonic into an asshole who doesn't even think about Amy in order to force push your plot along, right there, I know this is bad story.

Even if he doesn't love her she's still his friend and he would have gotten her a present, so this whole Sonic asshole thing is something you made up to justify Amy getting together with Shadow, a guy who barely cares about Amy in canon.

The one thing I like about this story, is the lack of spelling errors in it, but that doesn’t save it one bit.
