When you said christmas songfic i was not expecting Christmas Shoes, the song that IS NOT A CHRISTMAS SONG IT IS A ONE WAY TICKET TO THE LAND OF DEPRESSION. Boo-hoo-hoo! Y,Y Why do you strangle my feelings so?! WHHHYYYY! ...anyways. YAY SOPHIE IS BACK I love her...I love how it's PhantomhivexKadar that is just too precious. AND PERF APOCALYPSE MENTION WAS PERF.
But then, as soon as the two twins cut in line and you described their scraggly clothes I thought - hold up. HOLD UP. Azzy and Toto are up to something! Probably pulling a demon-y trick on unsuspecting schlups for the holidays! So hopefully there will be no "meeting Jesus tonight" for mommy...AND THEN YOU DEPRESSED ME RIGHT INTO NEXT DECEMBER, YOU DID. But then, as I was busy as a bee with bawling like a baby, I laughed because she said Christmas Angels - and oh gosh, are those twins as cute as Christmas Angels - but they're actually demons...and the irony was just so, so significant. The way you write children's dialogue is the most accurate way I've ever seen anyone write it, it's so friggin CUTE. and the Kabob thing - oh gosh lol how she suddenly claimed it was an accident - it's interesting how the innocence of a child and the gravity of a situation will make a person completely rethink his or her life. Ugh so beautiful I could cry. AGAIN. Lol And then of course Sebastian comes in to save the day, and the fact that they're called Baby Con-Artists is just so, so adorable. XD Ugh and the demon-scout thing was just utterly delightful! AND THE ENDINGGGGGGGG TTTTTHHHHHHEEEEEE ENDINGGGGG! Ciel will be wearing those shoes to literal Heaven! For a ball none the less! That's amazing. You have OBLITERATED the depression I've been experiencing for 18 years upon hearing Christmas Shoes, and now, every time I hear it I will be blessed with thinking of this adorable Kuro fic. My gosh, this is the best, most profound version of the Christmas Shoes I've ever witnessed in my life, and I can't thank you enough for making that stupidly depressing song happy for me. Oh my goodness! THE STALKER SONG FROM THE WEDDING PARTS OH MY GAWD I AM DYING RIGHT NOW.
AND THEN YOU PUT MY FAVORITE FREAKING SONG IN THE WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD IN THERE I think i told you this while they were having that kitchen convo...but still...oh my goodness. Just recently heard the Glee version of those two boys singing it to each other, and I believe I listened to that one...well, it says eight hundred and eighty one times but it feels like much more than that. Also, reading this cheerful fic with the tune of vince guaraldi trio o tannenbaum drawling from the radio is pretty nice too. I LOVE THAT TOTH IS GETTING AN EASY BAKE OVEN OH MY GAWD that's so cute. I am (i already know I am because I basically demanded it) getting Sims 3 Seasons for christmas, and the thing I am most excited about is playing the family based off of your Bi series *heart!* I think i showed you pictures on tumblr once...heh heh..embarrassment. I also love the deep socioeconomic analysis they do about the barbies oh gosh. Sebastian's little Disney speech made my heart melt *insert heart* I am literally wailing about the mistletoe part. That's incredibly clever. And the end was so cute - whispering to his heart and all, oh my goodness I'm so grateful that you wrote this.
