Six of Twelve chapter 12 . 4/6/2015 I suppose it must be hard for her to believe her own eyes. But, eventually, it will all sink in. Good chapter, as usual. :) |
otakuchamasherlockluvr chapter 11 . 3/29/2015 With the way she's denying things, I'd love to just show her a window and say, "Ya still think this is New Mexico, sweetheart?" And then show her Quark and Odo and see how she reacts. ;-) Even though I sometimes deny things, I never deny things this obvious! I get the gist of this, you're trying to make her react in a realistic manner. However, I don't think denying every single thing that happens is very realistic. It's very frustrating, reading fanfics or even just original stories about adults versus about teenagers. Teens are much more welcoming than most adults in the stories. Why? Because of "reality." What gives you the divine right to decide what is "real" and what isn't? I am trying very hard to not turn this into a hate, as that never helps, but please, make her a little more accepting of her situation! Give her a sircumstance where she has no choice but to accept the fact that she is over 350 years in the future with no way back! Show her a window! In all the places she's been in, she hasn't seen one window? That very unlikely, especially on a starship. I apologize if this seemed insulting or a flame. That wasn't supposed to be anything of the sort. It's just that this level of obliviousness always tried my patience, even in real life. So, while I don't apologize for my choice of words, I apologize if you mistake their meaning as one of hostility instead of one of frustration. As I said, it frustrated me to be in such denial when it's so obvious that she isn't in 2015! We don't have replicators in real life, nor do we nearly have that advanced space travel. Still, despite my frustration, I do enjoy the writing of this story and I hope to see more soon! X3 OCSluvr is out! |
Guest chapter 11 . 3/29/2015 Interesting premise, but the protagonist is unbearable. I can't understand how anyone could be so dumb. |
The Gnomist chapter 11 . 3/26/2015 Woa She is taking this a lot better than I thought Can't wait for next update |
Shorty McGee chapter 11 . 3/16/2015 Excellent story! I hope things get better for her. |
Six of Twelve chapter 11 . 3/16/2015 Good to see a new chapter again. And I'm glad that she finally knows where and when she is. Gul Gillek was patient and reasonable in explaining the situation to her, which I'm sure helped her from freaking out about the situation. Hope you update soon; I want to know what happens next! |
Guest chapter 10 . 1/21/2015 I completely forgot how she gor there in the first place, the letter was a nice flashback |
