I loved this! It was really well written. My only problem is that at one point you said that Sebastian was only there for 1 week while a few lines later you said he was there for 2 months. Other then that I loved this!

Awwww, that was really bittersweet. But it is an interesting take on Sebastian's name and another side of Ciel. This whole fic read like a light in the dark, a warm small and valuable one.

That was really great! :D ... But I still think he's named after the dog, because it's just more fun that way X3

Ciel could have been lying about how he chose that name, it's true. However, read volumes 12-15, and in one of those, Ciel said it was his dog's name. He was 9 years old when he met Sebastian. At that age I feel it would be normal for a child to name something after a pet.

"Wait, demon." Ciel grabs the demon's tailcoat.
"Hm?" The demon pauses and turns around to look at the young Earl.
"What is your name?" Ciel looks at him.
The demon says that Ciel can give him a name.
"I will call you...Sebastian, then."
"Was Sebastian the name of your previous butler?" The demon asks.
"No... It was my dog's name." The boy replies.

That was how the conversation went for the most part.

Sebastian had such a pained smile on his face... I nearly died of laughter. He said that he contracted a disagreeable child.

I do enjoy this take on where Sebastian got his name, though. Perhaps the manga would have more weight to it if this was how it happened.
