You are such a prolific writer and yet continually turn out such wonderful work with unique plot ideas and well-defined original characters. The Danny whump was creative and even though we didn't see much of the physical whump it was, over all, very intense. Once again, nice job.

Poor Danny that was a scary time to go through. But luckily Steve was able to get through to him. And Danny came back to them and is able to call Grace "monkey and say Steve's name.

This was a really great story. You're very good at writing..very intense and emotional in all the right places. I read the sequel to this story too..

I just found this story the other day and I think it was really fantastic. It was exciting, suspenseful and beautifully written. Great job!

The medic Evan was right... Steve stayed 6' high, while Morse ended up 6' under.
Nice to see the happy ending, Gracie is always so adorable.

Was so focused on the 'no Steve' thing that I hadn't even noticed the 'no Monkey' thing. Poor Gracie.

Hello, IreneClaire. Always glad to find one of your stories. This one is very interesting, quite the twist so far. Morse is gonna regret messing with Steve's ohana like this.

Great story filled with edge-of-your-seat tension and action. Nice use of repetition to detail what Danny suffered through at the hands of Morse. The ending is perfect as well.

I finally found the time to read the whole story.
Great plot, great writing, as always - loved it. And I'm very glad that Danny has his monkey and Steve who take care of him :-)
