A REALLY long while back (and I feel so bad cause this is beyond late)
But I finally managed to finish it! Twice technically because I couldn't pick which design fitted Seiran better-
(I didn't see anything in the story to suggest what Seiran wears except for a coat so I kinda winged it with the coat design, even then it still doesn't quite look right to me, but I hope you like it.)

Omg I absolutely love this story
From the characters to the tone to the added addition of Seiran? This story just hit all the high notes for me. There are a few grammatical mistakes here and there, but overall I find this one of the better Ib fanfics out there. (Hell I probably ship Seiran and Ib together more than I ship her with anyone else, the character arc for Seiran was phenomenal in my personal opinion)
I did also like the almost anime like feel at the beginning as well, with Garry appearing in the reflection on the window, to how he even created Seiran through the longing in his heart. I also loved the added detail of Seiran having no actual color to his rose, when I first read through this it always confused me as to why it didn't have an actual color to it, and that reveal towards the end when his big secret was out was like a puzzle piece fitting perfectly into place. It's honestly hard for certain writers to incorporate their characters into their stories without it completely making it feel as though the canonical character isn't acting as themselves anymore. But when it's done right it makes the difference between a bland character and a great character. He just fit so naturally and I honestly have no problems with him at all.

Overall I could go on and on about how much I think this is a great story but I'd be here forever. Great job with the story, I can't wait to see what you come up with in the future.

(Side note: would you mind at all if I made fan art for this fanfic? Or maybe a short-ish comic based off one of the scenes? as long as I credit you and link the story somewhere in the description of course- I honestly wouldn't mind but it's always good to ask for permission for something like this. )

Anyways, I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOOOOOVE THIS FIC! XDDDDD
I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT! From Ib's fascination with the Forgotten Portrait (though maybe not the immature dude and the drunk gal who thought bullying her is fun) her fall into the Fabricated World, Seiran, the Liar's Quest, Seiran's rose, Your Dark Figure, Seiran's Portrait, The Mermaid's Elixir, Mary's Rose, Red Eyes (which I swear, made me tear. Yes I do find her Cute X33) and GARRY! XDDD oh, and Seiran! XDD *SHOT* Especially the Rose trick at the end x333

It's really well written! I love the atmosphere, the writing style and the plot! The ending was nicely done too x33 And Ib's characterization, although I feel it's not exactly her (but then again one can't know if she rarely even talks in canon ; ), was really nicely done x3

So yeah, I LOVE THIS FIC!
And although I seem to have an ADHD type disorder about not getting to read the sequels even though I vow that I HAVE to read them, I WILL DEFINITELY READ THE SEQUEL!
And Seiran! (oooh, is it going to be a Triangle? or not? XDDD)

Why? The list of reasons I love this is too long, but I'll say two:
It's well written, and it has a great storyline.
Seiran is awesome. Don't judge me.

Well now she needs to find a painting into Garry's heart to get Seiran back. Damnit. This cycle just never ends.

Great, I was just getting ready my pitchforks to get Seiran and now I have to sit here like: Control yourself. Don't get swayed by this adorable bastard... Aaaaannndddd I failed.

"I've been stuck here for eight years?! That means I haven paid my rent 96 months!" *ROFLMAO* I would probably panic about that too but, in reality, he would've been thrown out long before that. xP That aside, this was an amazing story! I'd been a bit wary about the inclusion of Seiran but I came to like him quite a bit and I definitely like how you characterized Ib, especially in the last ordeal. The Liar's Quest and the Mermaid Elixer were also interesting concepts to add (though I feel always sorry for the Truth-Teller). And I do love me a happy ending Seriously, awesome job with this. I thoroughly enjoyed it and thank you so, so much for taking the time to write such a lovely work. :)
