Short, but very well written. Wish there were more fics that focused on this. Makes me wonder how Sephiroth would change if he had Lucrecia in his life.

Short as it may be, this fic gave me a good slap and reminded me that at the core we're all humans and will always be, no matter what we may become during our lives.

Look at your portrait of Sephiroth: he's a great warrior and a revered (and feared) hero, yet for all his might he cannot help but yearn for someone he never consciously met in his life.

He really is lonely at the top, and I can't help but find this depiction of him believable enough to be almost canonical. You did a fine job.
