Usually I don’t review but I loved this so much!

Cute little fic. Loved the second part starting with Elena getting upset over thinking that Damon thought of them as a cheap fuck.

Ok I so totally agree with you and why can't they just have Damon tell Elena to act of her own free will and ignore all sire bond complications/compulsions? How is that we can figure out how to fix this but the show is being stupid about it? I love the show more than the books, but seriously they have dinked us around for almost four years to make Damon and Elena coming together something cheap and it totally torqued me off when she just left cause he told her to in 4x09...I almost pitched the remote at the tv.

Loved this. I really felt like the episode ended too soon, I was expecting Elena to say more. But I guess with Delena so much is often said without words, and the writers wanted to remind us of that once again. Still, I do hope we get a scene like this where Elena does really fight for him. Hopefully next episode :)

This was amazing! Thank you so much for not studying and writing something so emotionally honest and cleansing and lovely. I want way more Delena fluff: it looks so good onscreen, and for some reason, it's easier for me to enjoy it knowing that Nina and Ian are actually together, and they probably love their job even more right now.

Your Elena makes a fantastic point by point argument! And I love it. And I want to hire someone to study for you so that you can write a fic where he trains her to resist the sire bond a la Breaking Point by Creeping Muse. That would be amazing. Okay, that is my Christmas wish. Maybe your school comes with a Christmas Break?

I want you to know, as well, that as soon as they did that (cough cough) cop out scene with Charlotte (you know, the one where she breaks the guy's neck to show that she's sire bonded?) my first thought was that whatever you put in your fic about Charlotte and the blood and stuff, it would be way better than that.

If it were so easy for DE, they could end the series with this season. So I think that the sire bond is not so bad as it seemed. But I still hope there's a way to break it. I want them to be equals.

This is so beautiful. I love Elena here. I love how she's fighting for Damon. I completely understand his doubts but I'm extremely happy that he decided to give in. Love this fic.

I know right! More easy, uncomplicated, just Damon and Elena loving each other and being happy. The writers didn't give us one moment of that before challenging it's legitimacy. This last episode brought a smile to my face. I am SO looking forward to their coming "courtship" if you will. As they delve into their love for each other more fully. Their opportunity for romance, not just sex, may finally be here. They've never had an opportunity to get to know each other in this way before. Now they can without it being only about stolen moments and sexual tension. I'd like to read a story about that... The budding ROMANCE of Damon and Elena.
Aside from that tangent. Your one shot really did give me what the show left out. Thank you! Beautifully written!

The only reason I am okay with the whole sire-bond thing is that now Elena needs to fight for Damon! Great one shot, I hope that's what will happen.
