Sad to see this story was abandoned. It had so much potential in these promising first chapters. Oh well, I hope you continue it one day, but if not, thanks for the great story!

Oh my lord I had way too much fun reading this. It’s unfortunate that it’s been so long since this was updated but the concept and writing is too good to just leave be in case it ever appears again. To start, the concept behind it is amazing and I got an absolute riot out of Naruto idolizing Akasuna no Sasori of all people and the way you developed his interest in puppetry. From the beginning he liked the idea of it but more in a ‘wow that’s cool and useful and badass, I could prank lots of people easily with it’ sort of way. As you developed the story though you can see the way he matures and grows to depend on the idea of puppetry more and more as he’s distanced from the others to the point that in this chapter we get to see a culmination of your well paced writing; a fascination for puppetry as an art and the one thing he can always return to, his dependence on it becoming his dream with the failure of Konoha ensuring his loyalty through their very skewed methods of controlling/protecting him. With that said, I absolutely loved the way you were able to portray this in such a steady, detailed writing style that gives a clear image of how Naruto has developed over the chapters. The fact that in 6 chapters you managed to develop Naruto from his canon self into a more self isolated focused persona and have it be reasonable from seeing his thought process mature over the years is amazing to see, especially with there only being 6 chapters to detail this new path you had Naruto taking. I would absolutely love to see this continue or be picked up someday, so while I have no clue whether these reviews would even be read at this point I’d just like to say thank you for writing this. I had a great time reading this and feel there’s a lot of potential with both this story and your writing as a whole. Followed and favorited for sure.

Hey if your not dead can you continue this story cause it's awesome I love the slow approach to a puppet naruto

Shiiit. This is really good. It feels really slow for a puppetteer naruto story, it also felt unfocused as it started to branch off away from the puppets at one point. However the story itself is actually really good and interesting. I feel like this "cold/distrusting" naruto was done really well. A lot of similar stories always make it cringy or unrealistic. Unrealistic as in it makes no logical sense and would never happen in real life and shows the authors lack of understanding regarding human emotions and how one to normal react. "Inari talks shit and naruto tells his whole life story to everyone and leaves angry" "a villager attacks naruto, he gets mad and ask the hokage to let him leave the village and the hokage literally just says ok without question within the same paragraph"

Out of all of your stories, this is by far my favorite.

very interesting start to the story and I like how you keep introducing the skills a puppeteer needs for Naruto even though he still isn't getting anything specific towards puppetry. Though one would think moving something small first would be a good place to start.

It's a shame you never finished this. You took the time to make his transition from bubbly Hokage wannabe to antisocial flight risk realistic and it went rather well.
