Ooooh, I loved! I think too about the Wind in ROTG and how he(it) was the first friend of Jack. Like, if Jack feels the need to call "Wind" its because its alive in some way, even if is just for Jack - maybe he (it) is some kind of spirit too, like the others, but an older one and not necessary a guardian, just... a very old, very kind, very wise and very quiet spirit.

I don't know what it is but I just love stories about the Wind and Jack. There's something about the absolute pure love between them but especially from the Wind. There can be nothing but complete devotion, it seems like, for the Wind to be his constant companion and to trust so thoroughly in the Wind to do the things they do. I love it!
