that phobia too is so stressing

So this story was last updated and finished like a decade ago but I have to leave a review.
I absolutely loved it all. Everything is written perfectly. At some point it seemed rather unreal, with the monster and all but then you related it to an actual someone who did it to Loki. I loved how Thor is all protective and loving. Soulmates! THIS IS PERFECT.
I am also glad you chose to let Thor survive, though the alternate ending would have gone well for me because I enjoy a little angst sometimes, plus the fact that they were still and always will be connected, bound.

OH MY GOSH SUCH A HOT LOVE SCENE OMG OMG OMG That was BEAUTIFUL. Lovely, so lovely. I am so glad Loki healed enough to have that, and no doubt with Thor! So beautiful, I'm glad Thor kept his promise of never parting. I Like that it was Loki who reminded Thor on that subject, and that he was the one to initiate their relationship. How could he be with anyone but Thor? He can't, I agree with him for feeling that way, and I am relieved Thor didn't try to argue. They both felt it.

I PREFER THIS VERSION THAN THOR DYING LOL. WAIT, So what was it? A human, or a demon? You strung it together so well I honestly can't tell. I'd love to know!

At least Loki is conscious again! I like that he was still disorientated. He was out of it for a long time, surely it would have some weird effect. It's sad he feels irritable at Thor and the nurse, but they're the only people there to lash out on, and I can't blame him for feeling irritable at them going too fast. He's only just come back.

Loki seems to believe that it was a person, and really I still would too. It being a monster in a real life AU just keeps you guessing. Was it or wasn't it real? It still could have just been some psycho and Loki's imagination. GAH. BUT what of Thor's dreams? And Loki waking up after Thor killed the creature? Was it just Thor's own distress and empathy that made HIM affected? LOL! THOR IS JUST AS CONFUSED! Oh gosh I can't be sure. At least Loki is back. But he's got so much hurt in his heart now...

Omg omg omg so intense I AM LOVING THE CREEPINESS AND THE BATTLE WITH THOR AND THE MONSTER. IT'S GREAT! omg that thing was SO set on getting to Loki, and Thor's rage was so amazing. He was so determined to save his Loki. It was beautiful. Frightening and beautiful. I swear I got goose bumps all over my arms. I've seen a lot of horror movies (because I like to scare myself) and while I have never really imagined the characters in such horror, you've done an excellent job, so much so that I have a completely demented idea for a similar fic like this! I would've had a heart attack a long time ago if I was Thor lol. Lucky he has Loki as his incentive. Again I love how you explain Thor's creepy experience in that place. It's very horror like, I am loving it.

The situation of Thor and his empathy was very interesting, very well done. And very heartbreaking for him to feel all those horrible emotions Loki has to endure in that place. But at least it brings him closer to his brother, emotionally and spiritually.

I love that he found the hammer, AU or not, Mjolnir or sledgehammer. Reminds us who we are dealing with, and gives us an odd parallel world feel. That would surely be of use, but yes, the creature isn't human so how do you kill it? At least it's something.

Poor Thor, all his hurt is so tangible sfhgsdjgfsdh YOU KILLING ME I swear I've been an emotional wreck all day. I keep reading this during my breaks at work and whenever I have a chance and my stomach is still twisting! Is Loki hiding the entire time from this thing? His soul trapped? I love how the Loki that was left behind is worse for Thor than the one that existed. At least if Loki did come home and screamed constantly about the dark it would something to relate to and protect him from, it would show Loki was still in there. But Loki walking around on his own, and in the dark? I agree with Thor, anything but that. emLoki/em isn't that. Makes me wonder if he was possessed in that bond chapter, or haunted, if it was a supernatural entity.

When Thor announced himself down in the hospital and there was no answer from Loki I swear my heart skipped a beat. I know he's not dead, but to the point Loki's been driven now is almost incomprehensible. I know the feeling of being frightened of things in the dark, and this is something that would kill me as well if I were in his situation.

Grey hair strands? Okay I am really thinking this was indeed a monster that hurt Loki. Thor also thought he smelt odd things, and I've heard a few stories of people having their hair go white after experiencing a supernatural confrontation, or pure fright. But dammit see the doctor put the burns off to cigarette burns, logical assumptions. But...GAH. The mind is powerful, I can't be sure.

This is certainly an interesting idea to be put with Loki. The norm is that he and the dark get along quite well, but seeing as this is AU and he's much younger, I very much like the idea! Especially when he had big brother Thor to call for when he's scared. Also that first scene was so sad and sweet, Loki running out the house because the electricity went off. Poor thing.
