Oooohhhhhh how lovely if this was a canon robin meeting shanks and becoming a part of his though only for a short while and them meeting again when luffy returns the strawhat. I think ben might view her as a daughter here and shanks will be a big brother and the crew her many uncles. Nyahahahhahaa it will be an eventfull reunion.
