Whew. 15 chapters in. Im gonna give a temp. Review so far here.
You have a real good understanding of the characters. The words coming from them sound genuine, and their interaction with eachother and their surroundings are spot on. For once, imreally find that i want to know more of Lestrade, but he is in the show a rather twodimentional role, and that is true here as well.

It is funny to see the shift in the storytelling. From being easy dialog, you expand, and start to elaborate, going into a deeper, more nuanced story. That is good, as too much of a good thing, tends to spoil the flavour. A good balance is needed, and i think you hit this spot on, from around chapter 7 and forward. Good job. Will finish the story, and then give my thoughts.

I feel like they say I love you too much. It's good that they say it, but they say it like at least 7 times a page and it feels really ooc to me.

I'm good at math. I am. And I don't understand how the heck you got from the string of three-digit numbers (and a nine) to all single digits. You said "sums" which means addition, of course, but I tried to add the numbers any way I could, and it didn't make sense. And you said 9 is the same as 0. Er... in what universe? Maybe I'm just tired, but the explanation didn't help me. I want to do the math for myself. *grumbles*

Anyway, it was fun reading about how this came about, and your story and commentary has made me want to go find a good role play. Also someone to help me with research! I have a good beta who helps with that sometimes, but lately I've been doing most of it on my own, and it's time-consuming. But worth it, of course. I wish all fan fic writers took the time to be thorough like you did.

A little squicked with the tongue penetration. Probably felt great for Sherlock, but dangerous for John. Human waste is really toxic, and you want to put your tongue in there? :/ *shudder* I'm just going to pretend that it's perfectly safe and nothing toxic ever comes down that tube... *shuts out reality*

Well, that was hot. I do think Sherlock was uncharacteristically stupid in this chapter though. At the end of the last chapter I thought for sure that Harris would attack John first, and Sherlock should have thought of it, too. Oh, well. *goes to read more*

I'm slightly confused because on the show, the reason Sherlock didn't smoke was because it is illegal to do so in London. So now does he just not care, or what? Because he was lighting up out in public... doesn't seem like him to be careless like that, even if he is miserable.
