What the hell? Why are you suddenly saying all that, to tell your reviewers to be quite as well is quite mean, the vast majority of them is just trying to help you out, improve the story and so on.

Anyways I don’t see much of a problem with this story except the Chief being a little bland and the issue with UNSC weapons but that’s about it. Otherwise this is quite good and you could make a pretty good story out of this.

Doesn’t help as well that to post stories and write in you don’t have to be that good at writing story’s, hell you could be a beginner getting started or experience, the beginning quality of a story doesn’t matter to much, all that does is the writers will and want to improve themselves and their story.

Also Ashley shouldn’t of Heard Cortona here unless she put herself on speaker which wouldn’t make much sense. Since after all the Spartan helmet is completely 100% soundproofed even a in atmosphere MAC round can still be blocked, you’d only feel the vibration at most.

About ME weapons being stronger again that’s false, while UNSC weapons are still chemical based they are over 500 years more advanced then they’d have in ME, not to mention mixing a little bit of forerunner knowledge into chemical engineering they are also completely able to make massive breakthroughs in the bullet speed and what they can fit inside. For example in Halo 5 you’ve got ONI machine guns that fire out explosive bullets that also have a bit of plasma in them, takes 1-4 shots to kill a spartan or a elite.

Honestly speaking these people who are analyzing the UNSC shouldn’t even be able to understand what’s in the chemical makeup and the nano technology. Primarily because of the fact the UNSC is as I’ve said 500 years more advanced.

Imagine someone who’s a military engineer from 500 years ago from now and that they are looking at a modern tank or round. They wouldn’t be able to understand heads or tails of it.

Just so you know all UNSC weapons should pretty easily take out any Geth unit, especially regular ones, only 3-6 shots at the most with the MA5C, the Shotgun should also be a one shot kill regardless of shields. Especially considering the fact that elite energy shields are more powerful then any ME shield and the Shotgun still one shots them in Heroic difficulty if you aim it right.

Reason why the weapons are so much more powerful is for completely obvious reasons, one because all of ME’s bullets are incredibly weak, being the size of a grain of sand. Also because the UNSC weapons are over 500 years more advanced then anything in the ME universe.

Thats not how I interpret his character, he would cooperate with innies against the alien invaders, but thats it.

UNSC forever! Also the occasional plasma or brute shot would be good but yeah I love UNSC armaments personally and somewhat despise how most crossover discount how brutally effective they are when you compare them to mass effect in what they are meant to do. Mass Effect initially was all about having a recharge on your weapon due to overheating (and then switched to disposable heat sinks for gameplay reasons I guess)and beyond that having near infinite ammo though the weapons did lose out in some aspects of their destructive potentially with using such small ‘shavings’ of the block of ammo. On the other hand Halo has taken chemical/gas propelled weaponry far beyond what Mass effect could imagine especially with what the UNSC weapons are required to deal with in the form of the Covenant energy shields (which far surpass kinetic shielding due to how advanced the Covies were to even attain that), and successfully gave the humans the tools needed to have a chance on the ground(in space it was much more difficult because super heated plasma burns through Titanium armor pretty darn fast)

Also, Chief should be able to talk inside his helmet without anyone hearing him, same with Cortana. Unless they turn the external speakers on no one will hear them.

As for what weapons he is going to use, he has an assault rifle and shotgun, both no with practically no ammo left, 1 plasma pistol and no means or recharging it once it runs out. He really doesn't have a choice BUT to use ME weapons, unless he plans on clubbing everyone he meets.

Aside from your apparently asinine attitude to your viewers, you clearly stated here that you won't be writing any more stories. Yet, from what I've seen in the archive, you've recently published a reboot. So what exactly is your deal?
Here's my piece of advice, since you've apparently "given up on writing" and are annoyed that people are "bugging you": delete all your stories, turn off all your notifications, or block all the users that are "bugging you" via private messaging. It's not rocket science. Why don't you take some initiative instead of throwing your tantrums around like a toddler?

You need to work on your dialogue. Also don't say (gunfire), the best asset an author has is "Show, not tell." You could have said something about the bullets zooming past or something. Or the bullets kicking up dust.

this story is fun! its an interesting take making MC from the future/alt timeline. i will say, i did get a chuckle reading your final AN saying it wont take 6months for the next chapter. went back and checked and this one was posted in May 2016:P lol
