I love the parallel you drew between Stefan and Nate. I love anything where we get to see a jealous and possessive Chuck. All of a sudden it was like Chuck was back in the courtyard at constance. I love how you portrayed Chuck and Blair dealing with their son's illness and how they worried about him. They're such good parents. Love that Chuck pulled some strings so that they could still celebrate Christmas.

Dan and Serena's son doesn't seem like the smartest bulb in the pack. Somehow it doesn't surprise me. Nice one-shot here.

If I don't get to your final chapter tonight, then I will for sure tomorrow.

Okay, so I just realized I read this out of order, so I'll be reading this chapter first, then chapter 15.

This was adorable. I loved reading Chuck and the children shopping for Blair's Christmas gift. Chuck loves to indulge Cordelia and spoil her and of course Eleanor had to bring up Blair's marriage to the prince. Love that Chuck still gets jealous over it. It's something that will probably deeply effect him, even if he has nothing to worry about because Blair chose him. And Chuck was such a good father not to give Blair her gift from him until later so he wouldn't outshine Ned's gift. A perfect story for the holidays, even if I am getting to it a bit late. Hope to get to the previous chapter tomorrow or later tonight.

This is my kind of "rusty"! It flows beautifully and my favorite thing was the "I'm Chuck Bass" line and Blair's tart, "That didn't work in high school and it's not working now" response. Lots of emotion, a well-written ensemble of characters and pitch-perfect dialogue. I am ready for more! Dazzle me, S!

OMG! This is the best gift ever! I’ve missed you and your talent! I of course loved every second, but especially your description as Chuck was watching Blair’s exchange with the ski instructor. My mind went immediately to the courtyard and suddenly Chuck was wearing his jaunty cap and the Stefan was Nate! Fabulous parallel!

Gosh where do I begin! Thank you for always writing such brilliant stories which fill the GG shaped holes in our hearts.

As always, this update had humour and real emotional resonance in equal measure. I love the dynamic of another family holiday, in particular C&B's judgement of Derena's parenting. I love that Jake is a bit of a moron - I was fully cracking up! It also all solidifies the fact that these characters were (in some cases literally) family at the end. It's nice to see how that idea plays out beyond the gathering in the 6x10 flashforward.

Note: skiing is a very waspy thing so this makes perfect sense! Although, was the Serena eating scones thing leading anywhere? I thought she was pregnant or something lol.

The Ned part was very unexpected but welcomed! You really captured the panic CB would go through seeing their child so severely ill. I love seeing that side of them. Especially Chuck who - I agree - would have a very close relationship with any son he had. You bring that affirmation of what a wonderful father and husband he is.

This was a spectacular update and I look forward to more in the future! Well done my talented friend! Xx
