I lost count how many times I've read this fic. It's hard to find a good reunion-fic, and even rarer to find one taking place during the holidays that isn't overdone and shmaltzy. Thanks for making my heart go boom every time I read this.

first of all great great great work ! there is to kind of reunion in one john wont accept sherlock in the first few hours and well it would take time in the other john would accept and your story is the i can wish for in the second kind of reunion and also very well written !

As for your story, I enjoyed reading it! I am a little sad thinking about the fact that Sherlock and John's relationship would be different in any way, but it would be senseless to think that they could go right back to normal. I do with I could see a moment of the their new normalcy and see that it's just as beautiful as before though.

The perfect amount of angst, a punch to the nose, a shocked John and a touching (though in character ending) ending makes for an adorable and believable return fic.
