i dont know where to put this but i dont get it one minute raven is scared and all that and skittish the next sh'es calm and relaxed not scared of the others at all?

Y'know, for those who point out that Raven is overpowered in the stories here, in this one she gets blasted unconscious repeatedly, tortured enough she almost loses the will to live...and her very first mission with the JLA ends with the entire team killed and Lex Luthor going full-blown Dr. Doom with the Power Cosmic only far more brutal and murderous. If it's a Mary Sue story it's an admirable deconstruction, and Raven herself gets curbstomped much more regularly than one would expect from a legit Mary Sue.

It's actually what makes this enjoyable, she's not always guaranteed to win and there's genuine suspense as to what will or won't happen.

Also Blackfire should have been thrown into the 40K Immaterium. Along with Lex Luthor and Doomsday. Doubt even Mr. "regenerate from anything" would be able to escape Nurgle or Khorne. :p

Oh gosh, of course Rage would end up in Happy's realm of all places. Carnivorous unicorns and serial killer teddy bears galore! Sloth trying to insult Cyborg was pretty funny. And i almost choked on my spit about the porn in Nightwing's room haha.

Amazing! Omg, when Raven finds out about her Kids! I almost died, so sad :((( God damn Terra! Can wait to read the next book :)

The Lithe

Although exams and school have kept me from reading for longer than I'd have liked, I've finally finished and it was brilliant!
I especially enjoyed (chapter 16 i think it was) when they have to return Raven's emotions to their realms- your depiction was perfect. And the monster ball story arc had me completely enthralled- the way you write personalities and the character's responses is spot on
well, enough of my gushing I'm off to read book 3!

I was curious as to why you tend to overpower raven when she is already powerful in her own right. Now, I know. You give her impossible odds to beat and escalate them at some point in the story, not just the physical but also psychological and emotional. Plus, dealing issues with her colleagues is a nice touch.

The monsters ball story arc you wrote was intense. Each chapter keeps on escalating to push and test her capabilities and each one ends with a cliffhanger that begs me to read the next chapter. You did the portrayal of characters justice, like always, down to their sick and twisted ways and appealing personalities. The part I enjoyed the most was the monsters ball story arc ended with a soft and tender finish. It is better than any Graphic Novel I’ve read so far.

It was bound to happen eventually,since raven and nightwing both express interest in one another. I'm very interested on how this romance goes.

I liked that Van Helsing reference you put in this chapter.

I don't even know what to really write without rambling... So i just want you to know that i think you're a really talented writer. I can't even remember when was the last time a fanfic caught my attention this much and held it for this lenght. If i wasn't lazy like hell i would've written reviews for all 80 chapters this far and would continue to do so, but this is me. For that i'm sorry. I see the number of reviews you got so far and i think it should be at least tripled. But even if you don't get as much reviews as you deserve for a story like this you can count on me to read every word of it till the 'The End' mark :)

Just wanted to comment on Terra. I prefer this version of Terra, the comic book version. Even if I may not like the character, I prefer her riddled with mental instability instead of teenage-angst and insecurity.

Back to reading for me. :)
