I just wanted to say that the best way to read this is to imagine Samson with the voice of Chills from Top15s.

I really liked the thoughts about Yui from Fuyutsuki and Gendo in these last few chapters. Her actions/goals have always seemed a bit sketchy and difficult to justify to me. One of the possible things I like to imagine about one of Yui's goals is that it was significance. That given the choice between a mundane human life and death with Shinji/Gendo and being an ascended goddess inside unit 01, she would pick unit 01. And all that noble 'monument' talk was just to disguise her wants from others and perhaps even herself.

I hope to see Shinji angsting about some of these things concerning his mother in future chapters, as it really is one of the more interesting and unexplored things in evangelion. Maybe he could even feel slightly rejected from his eva because of it working for Asuka, or maybe him learning of Yui's willing presence in the eva and her actions makes him reject the eva and her.

Anyway, It's great to see you are still updating and I am looking forward to future updates from you.

Lots of cool concepts in here, a little detail on the "higher plane of existence", Asuka attempting to share a lesson she learned the hard way herself (or perhaps just lampshading the differences between them), the girls exchanging tips on how to handle that stubborn ol' EVA 01...

So well, the extradimensional pudding is down. Makes one wonder, how close are we to running out of angels?

You're sure creating a lot of suspense by leaving it ambigous just how much Asuka knows, but she seems a lot more 'in-control' as a late even if she had a few fairly vulnerable scenes - She seems to be approaching something like a younger, less embittered version of her WILLE counterpart, in terms of confidence and proactive attitude

Ohh! Interesting.
It's an archievement that you made this quasi 180 believable, Asuka actually being like "I'm just a kid giimme a break" yet it doesn't feel that the core of her has been lost especially in this scene where the simple human tendency of maybe feeling attachment to other people/ not wanting to alone lead to both finding out more than they were supposed to.

You sure succeeded at making the psychic bond look like an intimate thing you'd preferably want to trust your family with and some some random person you have to work with, at the same time they're not THAT different two "excellent" ladies who like to be in control

Of course this is quite a bit game changing, especially since Asuka's smart and bold enough to ask the right questions (ie, "What about the other EVAs?", "Is the resemblance a coincidence?")

Of course the first thing Asuka says is "he misses you" and have a certain empathy because of her own situation...
It's something that there was always the potential for though her counter part would be barred from having that reaction by many other factors which you've carefully unravelled
Asuka's reactions are very human.

Very good battle description here, you came up with a completely original thing that still has the same frustrating lack of actual tangibility found in some of the latter angels.
