Wow, this was beautiful. I just love what the extra things were for his vision and such a creative medium as well too.

Bravo for a unique story, very cool magic elements, and showcasing Merlin's heart and true nature so well.

If you ever wanted to write more Merlin, would you consider an AU where Freya is blind?
Or one where blind Merlin foils assassination attempts on Arthur?
Or a story (similar to the movie Princess and the Goblin) where Merlin's singing is enough to ward off evil creatures?

This is everything I wanted in a sequel. Both were so beautiful and I looked up Heather Dale on Spotify so I would understand what inspired you to write Each Step. She has an amazing voice and you have changed the way I look at Merlin fanfiction with this story.

This story is incredible! You write the characters very well, and I live how you include the family relationship between everyone. Gains is like Merlin's father, Gwaine is like his older brother, and Arthur is like his twin brother. They're best friends, and I think that Arthur would be understanding about magic for something major like that, particularly because Merlin was gone for so long. Thanks for sharing this story, and God bless!
