Nicely written; I really enjoy your characterizations.

I'm... not sure if 8oz coffee cups are a thing in the States, to be perfectly frank. But even if they aren't, we can always pretend that Caroline chose the most pretentious coffee shop at the airport - one that does things differently from all the rest - right?

I really liked your take on Caroline (and what her conversations with Darcy might've been like.) I think that Caroline has to have some self-delusion and some honest (if selfish) concern for Bing, you strike a balance between manipulative b and slightly desperate but well-meaning. Also I like how you show that she encourages Darcy's worst impulses, it perfectly illustrates how poorly suited to each other they really are.

Loved it! You know this fic actually helps me understand a little more what the actual LBD Carolina may have been thinking behind the scenes. It was great! and, as an American, nothing really stood out to me. I will say that if you want to want better detail most US coffee shops use tall, grande and venti as the cup sizes (tall is the smallest, grande is medium and venti is large). Can't wait to read more of your work and I'd love to see a Lydia fic!

Haha - I didn't even notice any extra u's anywhere, but referring to Darcy as wearing "braces" was a bit of a giveaway. (In the U.S. they're mostly called suspenders. Some of us wear braces to straighten our teeth. No harm done, just made me giggle for a moment.) Very well done; seems to be spot-on with what Caroline might be thinking and trying. I'd be interested in see where you take a Lydia fic. OR, what about something with Bing or Jane? No one has written about what either of them are thinking or doing right now. Any speculations?

Nicely done :). I enjoyed how you wrote the interactions between them. It does make me feel a little sorry for Caroline though, because she does seem to be more desperate for Darcy's attention because she genuinely in her own way likes him rather than being mercenary in the book.

It's rather ironic that for such a show with a British source material, instead of Brit-picking fics, we are now American-picking (?) it...

And YES Lydia fic. There are not enough Lydia fics around.
