Absolutely brilliant fanfic! I just happened to tress upon it and fell in love with the plot! It is such a unique concept; weirdly blended with the randomness of Gintama and the character personalities are morphed incredibly to fit the plot; yet keep the essence of each character's signature traits.
You managed to perfectly balance the comedy, seriousness and the angst- something that had me enthralled and bound deeply while reading and wanting more! I love the fact that you have Toushi so active and involved in this fic- it shows how much he really does care for Sougo, and Kagura to some extent, and his involvement only spices things up. Mitsuba as the hard obstacle for Kagura to pass when it comes to avoiding Sougo is one of the best parts. Everything intertwined into something great and thoroughly entertaining to read. Though he was such a d*ck to her, Sougo has finally started to realize his strong feelings for Kagura, and after this sudden kiss, all knots should unravel and even he shouldn't be dense enough not to finally have his feelings exposed to the light!
I wonder what will transpire between the two now? Would Sougo be so stunned and confused as to not do anything until the time comes when she finally does leave? How would she feel if he were to not even acknowledge the kiss? Hurt? Broken? Giving up for good? What will Sougo do when he's too late once more? Can't wait to find out. I know it's been ages since you last updated this piece, but it would be a shame if you were to leave such a superb story unfinished! I hope you find that muse and give me another k*ckass chapter!
