Whoops, why looky there- I reviewed this already and in almost the same way! Um, at least I'm consistent? (feels a little foolish, rueful smile.)
Libraryland chapter 1 . 9/17/2015
Yep, just another of my favorites... and a strangely familiar love story... Oh, look, there it is!

JULIET
"Wilt thou be gone? It is not yet near day.
It was the nightingale, and not the lark,
That pierced the fearful hollow of thine ear.
Nightly she sings on yon pomegranate tree.
Believe me, love, it was the nightingale."

ROMEO
"It was the lark, the herald of the morn,
No nightingale. Look, love, what envious streaks streaks of light
Do lace the severing clouds in yonder east.
Night's candles are burnt out, and jocund day
Stands tiptoe on the misty mountain-tops.
I must be gone and live, or stay and die."

JULIET
"Yon light is not daylight, I know it.
It is some meteor that the sun exhaled
To be to thee this night a torchbearer
And light thee on thy way to Mantua.
Therefore stay yet. Thou need'st not to be gone."

ROMEO
"Oh, let me be ta'en; let me be put to death.
I am content, so thou wilt have it so.
I'll say yon grey is not the morning's eye; that grey light
'Tis but the pale reflex of Cynthia's brow.
Nor that is not the lark, whose notes do beat
The vaulty heav'n so high above our heads.
I have more care to stay than will to go.
Come death, and welcome; Juliet wills it so! "

Still hoping for a Loki & Jane love story in cannon - so much more interesting/classic a pairing!
Guest chapter 1 . 4/30/2015
Woah! Sensual ! Love the feel of yearning for each other .
Libraryland chapter 1 . 8/20/2014
"Wilt thou be gone? It is not yet near day. It was the nightingale and not the lark that pierced the fearful hollow of thy ear. Nightly she sings in yon pomegranate tree. Believe me love, it was the nightingale."

Short, sweet, sexy and romantic too. Believable characters, consistent with canon (ok, a bit off canon now, but really, who cares?) and an interesting premise of pain, loss/theft of self and how one might go about healing/finding themselves again. And bravo Jane for staying put and damn the torpedoes!

"I have more care to stay than will to go..."

Thank you for a delightful vision!

Kon13 chapter 1 . 3/20/2014
I usually dint care for one-shots much because things frrl too rushed or relationships just don't cluck right for me. But you, you've managed it so well, so BEAUTIFULLY! This is just amazing. I love it so much.
SharpMaz chapter 1 . 2/16/2014
I really liked that, a lot. I'm sorry I don't have any creative criticism, but I really wanted to let you know that I think you're a very good writer :)
