Oh my life, Hook wasn't a rapist! The whole way he met Milah was saving her from a potential rapist. Your writing is really good but I don't like stories that make him out to be a rapist, so I can't reading this anymore, sorry.

Good job with the banter. One of the things I like about this pairing is that they seem to have an effortless understanding of the other. True, understanding doesn't always mean acceptance, but it's a connection and it has to mean a lot, more than they want it to, for someone to get them.

"He was cut off by a furious roar that shook the treetops and stirred the leaves at their feet. They both snapped their heads upwards and she took the opportunity to grab the jacket and take off."-I did not expect that. What horrible timing since they were just beginning to not kick each other's asses and talk things out.

Ooh, ogres. This could have been a very intense scene on the show. You give the story plenty of suspense.

"The odd thing was that though he set out to find Cora, he dreaded encountering her at all."-I'm sure he's not the only one who's experienced that. Cora probably had that effect on people.

Thanks for giving Emma some credit and have her superpower work. It sucked in the latter half of the season when everyone started questioning it. Yeah, she's messed up a few times, but she's also pretty good at detecting a lie, better than a lot of people on the show.

"After he'd relieved her of the giant's compass and tucked it safely in a breast pocket, the entire trip had been a rabble of obnoxious taunting on both their parts."-Aw, this made me feel sorrier for Emma than her injury!

Oh, I didn't expect all this to fall under the anniversary of Milah's death. That would have an influence on things now wouldn't it? Very clever.
