It's a shame that the story is yet unfinished. I love the character design, and it's a brilliant idea to let Neville and Harry grow up together! I want more!

I like the way you write. It is different from other stories and canon. I was expecting Harry and Neville to more advanced than the others by the fact they hadn't been seen for so long. Question is, did Sirius and Remus train them or is that part still like canon?

I love this story so very much, that I went to a rather great deal of trouble to hunt down a PC on which I could actually type (as opposed to reading on my phone or nook, where I really can't type), because I want to thank you for your hard work.

To start with, the narrator's voice in this story is pitch perfect. Slightly frantic, ever-so-earnest, wistful, lonely and bullheaded - you as the narrator sound precisely like Hermione Granger, circa. 1991. Really and truly, this is an excellent achievement. She is such a complex character even as a young girl, and you've captured her perfectly, not just by telling us about her summer reading list or study schedule, but with every word you choose in your narrative, so that we can feel Hermione's thoughts even without long explanations. You don't have to tell us, "Hermione felt a touch of panic," in any particular moment, because you've already shown us that just by your word choices. Marvelous job.

Next, your Luna delights me. I love that she's not quite the same as the 14-year-old Luna we met in OotP (because, of course, children change a lot during those years), yet she's still so clearly Luna. You've made just the right amount of adaptations to her character, but not too much. I'm eager to see how her loyal, thoughtful, considerate behavior impacts Hermione, Harry and Neville. I'm also in stitches over half the things Luna says along with Hermione's reactions. That image of Snape in a sailor suit with a lollypop! I nearly died! I wish I had artistic talent, as that photo NEEDS to be drawn.

I also love how much perception and depth is found throughout this story. For example, Luna's remark in this chapter about how people are always talking about each other behind the other's back, but it doesn't mean anything - you expressed that so beautifully and simply and in such a tender manner that I'm going to have to memorize your exact words for the next time I'm comforting one of my children. I really liked that.

There's much more to praise, but I'm out of time. Thank you again for your hard work and for your kindness in sharing this story with us.

Love your writing style. It's really quite professional, and your characterizations are excellent.

This is a really tremendous story so far. Original, well-written, exciting... I could disgorge a thesaurus here on how much I enjoyed it and I'm struggling to come up with anything bad to say. Except that it isn't finished and hasn't been updated in months, of course.

I really hope you come back to this fic because it's almost criminal to leave it unfinished.
