redrosemary chapter 5 . 8/14/2015 Thanks for writing this! |
redrosemary chapter 3 . 8/14/2015 If last chapter was for Fenris, this is Hawke's growth chapter. I love the way you turned her from this self righteous, idealistic girl to maturity but not total skepticism, as seen in her healing Merill. And that Fenris is patient. |
redrosemary chapter 2 . 8/14/2015 It's nice to see the slow growth of Fenris from being the selfish person in ch1-you nailed that description! -into this compassionate being who feels jealousy and the beginnings of love. Yay, you! |
redrosemary chapter 1 . 8/14/2015 This got me in a roller coaster of feelings, from fun and romance to angst. Looking firward to the next chapters! And soooo glad it's complete, this way I can read at my leisure. |
wintryone chapter 5 . 5/9/2015 Cried again. So good. All the closure and understanding we ever wanted. Thank you so much for writing this. Bringing all my favorite characters into such vibrant life, and exploring their hearts and minds so fully, with so much depth. And even tho it's kind of silly, thanks for this time with Fenris, who I had been sorely missing. Bravo! |
wintryone chapter 4 . 5/9/2015 Ah, that Anders scene. I don't think I've ever read better. Fenris' nightmare! Just so wrenching. Watching her struggle to come back, and then it all literally blows up. But, he is there now. He's ready. That makes all the difference. It's all so amazingly well done, I can't tell you that enough! |
wintryone chapter 3 . 5/9/2015 You made me cry three times this chapter. Higher praise, I do not know. I especially love the way you've explored Hawke's Magic as curse. How it affected her after Leandra's death. How Fenris keeps trying, even though he's so broken himself. And how it's her friends needing her that finally pulls her back from the brink of the abyss. Well done! |
wintryone chapter 2 . 5/8/2015 I began this story a long time ago, and somehow in life's confusion lost track of it. A mutual friend reminded me of it when talking of missing Fenris. I owe her a huge debt :) I just reread chapter one and this one for the first time. You capture it all so perfectly, especially the emotional depth, which is always what I long for the most. Your Hawke and Fenris are so amazingly alive, their pain incredibly real. Truly, I could go on and on, but in the end can only say you've made magic here. |
Dabbles R Us chapter 5 . 1/30/2015 Omg I love this story. And I fist-pumped the air when Carver went to his sister's side. Seriously, great story all the way around and I am glad to have read it! |
Dabbles R Us chapter 4 . 1/30/2015 I'm quite addicted to this tale you're telling and how you're covering all of DAII in these short, emotionally charged chapters is just brilliant. |
Dabbles R Us chapter 3 . 1/30/2015 God, this story is amazing. I know, I've said that, but 'tis true! I love the way you write Aveline and Fenris, two of my favorites, and I *love* Hawke's inner turmoil and brokenness and that bonding moment with Carver? "Tell me I'm not a mistake" That was like a knife to my heart and I loved it. |
Dabbles R Us chapter 2 . 1/30/2015 AH! I love it! Especially the way you paralleled the ending lines. Somehow, she he wouldn't stay to somehow, she knew he would stay. This is such a good piece of writing! |
Dabbles R Us chapter 1 . 1/30/2015 Squee! I love how you write Fenris! I'd leave a longer review, but I need to go to the next chapter! |
Checkers Lime Viola chapter 5 . 8/16/2014 Wow this was amazing. |
Dorkolicious chapter 5 . 6/5/2014 This was a great read, thank you for writing it |
