This is simply beautiful :) Yes it have a romantic tinge of it, but it can be viewed as a... companionship too, companionship of both magi.

And I have to agree with you that actually Aladdin is a complex character, given that he doesnt asks Ugo kun about his past, having complete trusts on certain stranger, cares so much for his comrades but still wills himself to travel alone, etcetc.

The world needs more Judal and Aladdin together. As brothers/siblings, fellow magi, enemies with inkling bonds, lovers I DON'T CARE I JUST WANT TO SEE THEM TOGETHER AND GOSH I LOVED READING THIS KUDOS TO YOU. I agree, Aladdin is such an interesting, complex cutie who needs more love. He is one of the main characters of a series I seriously love instead of annoying me. (Well okay, I usually don't dislike main characters but Aladdin is just ...it feels special). Then again I don't really dislike any important character in Magi.
