Ling is amazing in this chapter!

I know this story hasn’t been updated in a couple years, but I’m still going to say how much I love it. The writing is great, I had trouble keeping away from the story for any more than a few minutes. Whenever I heard about Xing clans in the anime I was always curious what exactly it was like and this story has definitely satisfied that curiousity a bit. Even though it seems like it’s been left alone for awhile, I hope that this story is updated and completed someday (and that hopefully the reason it hasn’t been isn’t your health).

Oh. My. God. This is one of the most incredible things I've ever read. I only just recently finished the FMA manga series, and fell in love with Lin/Ling (Apparently it varies, in the version I read, it's Lin) and Greed. I adore how you write the dialogue between them, and the change in Ling after Greed comes back. It's easy to tell how close they were, and how glad he is Greed's alive (such as that may be). You thread through the political intrigue phenomenally, and *of course* that's Lin's solution to the attack. That's gonna be a heck of a fun scene to read, and I really look forward to it, presuming of course you're still writing it. Thank you for creating this masterpiece, and I sincerely hope you can find both the time and the motivation to finish it. (Believe me, I know how rarely those two coincide. I have a story I haven't touched in 5 years, so... yeah.)

Yo, I've really loved reading this! I know it's been over a year since your last update, but this truly is a wonderful fic. Not many fan stories go into such detail with their original characters as you have, or create a world so realistic and entertaining. Plus I love how cleverly fair and charismatic you've written Ling while not making him seem overpowered or too perfect for his position. His relationship with Lan Fan is beautiful, AND GREED IS THERE TOO AND HE IS BAE; YOU WRITE HIM FLAWLESSLY~ I'd also still love to find out if Pan-Shu truly is an ally or not! (though I hope from what you've implied so far that he is, but honestly with how well you've crafted your plot I probably won't be disappointed if he isn't) And ugh, what a cliffhanger to drop off on! It seems like you were very close to finishing this, along with the Lan Fan/Ling resolution... If you're still around and well, I'll keep my eyes peeled for an update. This is amazing! Truly, I don't think I have the words to properly convey my love for this. When I started this story I just couldn't stop reading it. Which is a shame cause honestly, every chapter deserves a review gushing about how great it is. The world you've created feels so rich and well thought out that I can't wait for more. At every turn and twist of the plot I just sit there with admiration. And I just, I don't know, it's so great. The political intruige, the characters, oh the characters, I really love how you've portrayed everyone! It's just so great and I'd like to tell you about all the things that I find great, but there's just SO much. I just really love this. And while I'm happy that I could read so much at once, It would've been great to support you throughout the years. I'm probably still going to leave a review at every chapter when I reread this.
