Kitty-Kat Allie chapter 1 . 12/2/2012 I love it! I love how much character you put into these two people we have only seen swift glimpses of in canon. I ache for them. It reminds me of Narnia, actually, and the sequel to the Secret Garden, and I'm both nostalgic and heartbroken. Even though he can't die by a bullet wound, even though she would be able to wait for him in more comfort than another, mortal, woman, it's still wrenched. And maybe it's worse. Maybe it hurts more watching an immortal man go to war and take bullet wound and shrapnel after another, knowing he feels the pain and could never die from it, only suffer with it. And also suffer with every man and woman of his country. Even though he can come back, he could still come back a different person. I dunno. I just know I really enjoyed this story and the feels. Thank you. |
