Wow. A really disturbing idea - disturbing in a good way, a way that really digs in and won't let go for a long time. Poor Selphie, and man I feel bad for Zell. What an original idea! (I'd say it was great, but that implies too much happiness for something so dark.) I really liked the addition of the Hyne's Tears - and the line about growing only in graveyards was really good. And the very last section that explained everything - just wow. Awesome idea and you pulled it off really well.

Another AMAZING piece - unusual and fascinating and dark and utterly original. This is a great what-if - a very frightening possibility and a very disturbing outcome. You have so much unusual writing here, I mean - wow. I love this. It's different and emotional and beatufiully written. Awesome. I hope to read more of your writing soon.

Wow! Its good! _ I like it!

Awesome, awesome fic! I had to read it a couple of times to sort it all out (I'm not complaining - a fic that makes the reader have to think is a good thing!). Excellent juxtaposition of Selphie being (kinda) responsible for the destruction of Balamb and Zell being responsible (He wasn't! But he felt guilty anyway) for the destruction of Trabia Garden. Superb!

Oh, my God! This story's so cold in its last words...it belongs to you, Esse. It's certainly original and answers "What if...?" Though you warned us readers about the first- and third-person jumps, they were a little hazy. But they didn't detract from the story as much as I thought it would. It's a wonderful fic-you should get it entered into that publication that is working on!
