This is a pretty good story and I really liked the last line.

I love hugging my parents because of how they feel and smell, and now I unconsciously take a deep breath in through my nose absorbing their scents. Almost like I'm trying to memorize them, imprinting them into my memory for the rest of my life. My sister too. She smells good too.

That last line got me... .

Erm, saying it like that sounds a tad weird but you get it, right? XD Anywhoo, this was great and I love love loved it! I know this was written a few years ago and you might not see this review but meh - I still felt the need to say how awesome this was. XD

And I think also sense of touch for Al, to be able to feel everything again suddenly. It's not something we notice so much since we can, but it's like being numbed when going to the dentist. Just thinking about being numb like that everywhere... That's how Al was. And after he gets his body back, he can feel all that again
