I am so late to this story but I read it everyday until I just finished. If I was not a fan of these two characters already I would be after reading this. This story had a little bit of everything.

The way you describe trauma and the impact it has on the victim and that was close to them, also known as the other victims, is amazing. I hate to think what you may have been through to be able to write this, but it’s amazing. I hope it just comes from your imagination. And research

Thank you for sharing, I am enjoying your story. Although, I have to say this chapter makes no logical sense. Maura basis decisions on logic, and none of the reasons given are logical. If we are to go with an emotional decision, it still makes no sense. Maura would have basically endangered her whole family and she's too smart for that. I'd like to delete this chapter just because it doesn't logically work on any level.
