I don't know if I'm just stupid and didn't notice this or am stupid and this actually happened or actually smart (long shot) but I noticed that Katniss and Peeta never say "I love you too." I'm again, stupid, so I don't know if I read this in this fanfic or another one but it said that they never said I love you too because they didn't want to make their love seem like it was something to be returned or something they both had in common.

Wasn't Peeta's doctors name Beetee? Haha I catch on, but I'll let this one sliide

Okay, idk what's going on but when they say "Stay with me." The reply is always and when Peeta says "So now that you've got me what are you going to do with me?I'm not exactly sure but something along the lines of "Put you somewhere where you can't get hurt"

This is one of the best THG fanfics ive read. I loved it. Ur words are beautiful. Ive just reread the whole thing. I loved how u write K and P and situations and conflicts. Id love to read from u again. (I saw ur other fic, but that might be too much for my sensitive heart. But i might read it when its finished so i wont suffer too much. XD) thanks for sharing ur talent with us!

I know this story is finished, im in chap 7 though, its wonderfully written and it gets me thinking. I read fics before in wich peeta has a gf who dumps hom when he loses his leg and i hated thwm. Bitches!
Im trying so hard to not hate katniss here, to understad her but i really feel this is worst coming from her, really out of character for her to do something like this. Sigh

The greatest. First, I found this a couple days ago and read the entire thing. Second, Western Mass is the best. Amherst, Hadley, Northampton, and Deerfield/Greenfield are amazing thus I love that you used them! Keep on keeping on!

When I read ch1 I was confused. Maybe it was because I was really tired but when I read it again and continued I started to love it so you can say I finished this great story in a day.

OH MY GOD I LOVED THIS STORY.
I'm honestly really glad that I found it after it had been finished so I wouldn't be going crazy waiting for an update! SERIOUSLY, GIRL. I have spent last night and pretty much all of my free time today reading this story and I loved it all. It made me cry a few times, not gonna lie. They went through some pretty tough shit. Damn, Katniss can really be a bitch. Like, a reall bitch. Damn. And Peeta. PEETA. Everyone loves Peeta. And everyone wants to have little croissant babies with him.
I loved the dynamic of this story and I loves how you made Annie a more prominent character. And plus, seriously, who doesn't love Odesta? I loved, loved, LOVED this fan fic. Beautifully written, well thought out, and lots of plot. Thank you for sharing your talent and ideas with us Everlark fans! :)

I have to doff my hat to you. This is one of the best AU's that I've had the pleasure of reading.
There are so many things about it..I'm almost afraid to list them because I might overlook something. I'm gonna stick to three because that's a manageable number. I think I can squeeze it into three.

First of all, thank you for keeping it real. You didn't make it easy on them. There was no soap opera ending or Harlequin romance style revelations. It was a hard road. There was so much give and take between them. Both of them messed up. Both of them got hurt. That's the nature of relationships and letting somebody into your heart and life. They don't just magically integrate. Everything doesn't just fall into place. It's hard and painful and sometimes...things just don't work. You have to pull back, reassess and choose what's worth keeping and what needs to go. These two did that. They chose each other. From the minute he followed her to Amherst, it was clear that come hell or high water-they were in it together.

Two-the wedding, announcements, confrontation, life. Every detail was handled with attention. How does this affect the rest of the story? Where are they going from here? Even with all the back and forth, missteps and false starts...they kept moving toward a working, functional, healthy relationship. My favorite part was her reading the notebooks to him and then them talking it out. It fits Katniss that she wouldn't be able to come up with words on the fly like Peeta could. I really loved the idea of the journals. It works for her. It's also very in character for Peeta to prod her into sharing with him..and then taking on the issues one by one. Loved it.

Three: supporting cast. I love Haymitch. Adore him. You handled him brilliantly. He wasn't just a place holder. He did as he usually does...gives them the space they need to work stuff out in their own time and in their own way. Loved it. Johanna, Gale, Rye, Annie (my favorite), Prim...every one of them mattered. Every one of them had a purpose and reason for being. Every one made a contribution that ended with that magnificent "I'm late."

Great fic. Stellar writing. I seriously co-opted several phrases. You have a lovely way with words, my dear. Look forward to your next story.

Okay...seven chapters in and I'm already chewing what's left of my nails to bits.
You have some lines in here that I have copied and pasted to my writing doc...should I ever quote them..you will be credited but I just wanted you to know that.

You've described, built, and outlined their relationship in such stark, unflinching detail...it hurts to read. Yes,what they had wasn't healthy. Yes, Annie had the right of it when she told her that they had lost themselves individually in the collective "we" of their relationship. Yes, Katniss is a selfish bitch that needs to be smacked...but she also needs to be hugged, told it's okay, told that there's nothing wrong with taking time to just be and figure things out.

I knew that I would love this story. That was a given...
What I didn't expect was to be floored by a real, true, and honest portrait of a relationship that works in all the right ways for all the wrong reasons. I can't wait to see what comes next.

I can't express enough how your characters were just so Real and genuine and Human. I just love when an author can manage to write a character that I can identify with, and your Katniss was it. I feel like I could go on and on about everything I loved about your story and characters, but since I'd rather not write an essay, I'll just let you know that you can most definitely find your story under my Favorites list. :) I hope to read more of your stories in the future!

So I started reading this before bed last night and I had to finish it before going to bed. Needless to say, I didn't sleep much last night. Anyway this was fantastic. I cannot believe I avoid reading this for so long. I read A LOT of Everlark and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to take all the drama and angst so I've been trying to find more fluffy stories to read. When I saw this was completed, I decided to finally just read it. I'm glad I did. This had the perfect balance of everything. I love how realistic you are with all the relationships. Usually, there is a little drama, they get through it, and everyone lives happily ever after. I'm glad that not everyone ended up together. I like that not all relationships were resolved. I prefer reading realistic stories instead of those fluff fests. It's more relatable and enjoyable. Anyway, I'm glad I waited to read this because I don't think I would be able to handle the wait between Katniss leaving and coming back. Fantastic story, cannot wait for the next one. I'll stop rambling now and just follow you on tumblr.
