| coyotepup4 chapter 9 . 10/12/2016 I only found this story recently, and I'm only on Chapter 9. So this review may be a moot point since it's up to chapter 41 but I have to say it. Stop having Castle coddle her. He needs to call her out for the selfish b**ch she is. She only took the risk of going to Moscow pregnant because it was an opportunity to advance her career, get closer to homicide to solve mother's murder. She chose her dead mother over her live daughter. Even a big a selfish fool, Johanna was, there's no way she would've wanted Kate to make that choice. Even in the show, here excuse was always the same. "My mommy died (when I was an adult) and damaged me." Even when she solves crimes, she's doing it for selfish reasons. She's an emotional vampire, getting sustenance off of the closure she gives others. Considering Castle had to man up to raise Alexis at the same age, he should not be taking any of this crap. He needs to tell her to grow up. That's her daughter. She did a selfish, stupid thing 10 years ago in order to avenge a dead woman who likely didn't deserve it. He needs to tell her that she's not the center of the universe and stop expecting everyone to 'respect her pain'. |
