Sherlock does not stop looking for the book, but he does it less frequently. One day he finds it and reverses the spell. Magic is real and time rewinds. St. Barts. Mike Stamford walks in with an old friend. Destiny is stronger than magic.
Can I tempt you into writing a sequel? What does Sherlock do with all his future knowledge? Hold it over Mycroft's head? Irritate Lestrade? Befriend John at double the usual speed?
