I love to see Kate transformed into a Firefly-quoting Browncoat. Because you are so right, all it takes is one viewing, and Firefly's superiority to Nebula-9 is manifest. Really enjoyed your many references, including the one about Serenity being the nicest ship, but a number of them made me laugh out loud: "I don't know Castle," she joked, "Mal might be even more ruggedly handsome than you are." "Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal," he mumbled. And your closing sequence: "I'm lost, I'm angry, and I'm armed," she quoted, "now put on the damn movie!" More LOL.

I saw you posted this on Twitter and I clicked on it because I was like "Is that a Firefly ref?" AND THEN IT WAS AND IT WAS THIS CUTE FIC. I can imagine Beckett getting hooked, and oh, how she would be as raving as we are. Good job. :)
