I had to resist hard but I had tears in my eyes while reading this.

It would be something Frank would do to get rid of Hawkeye I guess.

It's sad to think that it would be a reason for a dishonorably discharge but I still that being homosexual is a taboo still for many parts of the social life.

Sad but true.

I kind of whish there would be a sequel to this story, where B.J. manages to get back and look him up, and where they stay in contact which each other over the time before B.J. manage to leave Korea as well or a sequel where Hawk get's send back because maybe of Sidney because with him going they loose the best surgeon they had.

Wow! I've recently been rewatching the show so I have been getting back into the fanfiction side. This was so heart breaking, living in a time now when DADT doesn't exist anymore it makes me sad to think of a time it did. So beautiful.
