Went back to the middle of Castle FF to find something I hadn’t read and found this. Loved it! Thanks for writing!

I started reading this and then All Too Well started playing! What are the odds? (okay, actually, odds are not that bad because I am listening to my fanfiction playlist, which has like 120 songs on it BUT STILL). Anyway, thank god this wasn't an angsty story otherwise I would be sobbing in my bed right now.

also I 100 percent do not know how papa becks is in the books, so I'm going to need to look that up.

I love this story and the stillness and the love in it. I miss your writing (in general, I know you aren't about that Castle life anymore) and just wanted you to know that (also not a guilt trip. live your life how you want) because your words matter. love youuu

I've read a few of your stories (well, more than a few), but it was after the first story that I knew you were a talented writer. Your stories and your writing are very good. Better than the majority of what I've read by other writers here. It's a real shame you don't write more.

Loved it! Brilliantly written and the characters are so believable. I hope there's some sort of follow up..maybe a year or two later when Kate opens the book again!

Came across this somehow I cannot recall due to the week I've had as of yet but I just wanted to let you know I loved it and once again I need to read the books so bad. Oh my this is great...it cries out for a sequel...what did Castle write in the book...

I just finished the book tonight, incidentally also reading the final pages in the bath haha... And this is the first place I came, wanting to read your thoughts on it. And you didn't disappoint (like you ever would!)... This is an amazing story, so insightful and sweet and just so very much them. I adore how you understand Kate, how you unfold her both through his view and her own words. How you look at what she'd feel about Nikki and the book, and make it so spot-on as if it's an actual episode. I mean I overall just love how gorgeous it is, the imagery of the two of them in the tub together, the sweetness with how they are with each other, the strength of their love, but the words they say, about the story and them, that's what makes this piece stand out to me. I love the insights you give them, particularly when she says 'Nikki is who you thought I could be, who you thought I was' (I'm paraphrasing) - I just love that, how she sees the strength Nikki has, thinks she's not as strong yet recognizes that this is how he sees her, the admiration he's always had for her. I also love that Kate says her mom would've loved the story. All of this, gosh I'm rambling but I read this twice in a row because it's just the perfect addition to the book.
(I can't believe he ended it there either!)

So, I've been dying to read this ever since you posted it but I haven't read Frozen Heat yet. I finally just gave up bc goodness knows how long it'll be before I get around to buying the book and I love your writing so much. AND OMG JESS THIS WAS AMAZING. Seriously one of the best fics I've ever read. You capture them so so well. I don't even know how to name all the things I love about this. It's just flawless and beautiful and I love it so much! I want it to be canon and I'm just going to imagine that it is.

Why do I have this strange feeling that he wrote a marriage proposal on the dedication page..? And if that's what he wrote, can we have a sequel? Pretty please? I'll bake you cookies...
