to John B Wells: since you seem to me missing the point slightly, please allow me to make something clear. this is fanfiction. it can be *whatever* we want it to be. we can write a scene verbatim to practice description. we can write it verbatim but from a character's POV to give insight into their thoughts and emotions, esp. if we'd rather they were crushing on someone or feeling something other than explicitly stated in the episode/show/film. we can take the characters presented and put them in new situations and settings, or make new characters and have them interact within the settings and situations we like with the characters we already had. we bring people back from the dead, reunite lost loves, make romantic matches, happy families, happy endings, and even present the occasion smoldering scene of erotic passion. we do it for reviews, we do it for ourselves, we do it for the plot bunnies, and we do it because we like it.
as Willy Wonka once said, we are the music makers and we are the dreamers of the dreams; as a reader and fellow free human being, you're welcome to share those dreams with us or not.
maybe next time, try it yourself, and see what you can come up with. and yes, my thesauruses are used and well-worn, but I don't attempt to sling about excessive verbiage to prove I'm smart. I do it because there are too many amazing words in the English language not to try and use them when I can.

Bet your thesaurus is dog-eared and decrepit. I thought the whole idea was to use your imagination, not rewrite the episode using your big words to try to impress that you are highly educated and so experienced in emotional episodes.

This is sweet! I wasn't much of a Zoe fan until the last two episodes. I love your writing style! Excellent for your first story.
