Your writing style switching from thoughts to actions so smoothly amazes me and I can get lost forever in your excellent use of metaphors and imagery. You have the talent to make a story come to life.

Your characterization was admirable and I especially loved Loki’s shape shifting and fighting. I could really picture all his moves clearly in my mind, like in the movie, which is a really hard feat to pull off since action scenes tend to become dull if not executed well. You definitely need not worry about that since yours were positively thrilling! I swear I must have looked like a grinning madwoman myself when Loki reared back laughing madly with his black, poison filled eyes. I know I’m addicted to manic laughing during battles. It’s just so much more exciting than fierce anger, it’s prove that one’s mind is invincible even if one’s body is not.

I’m so glad you made Loki such a strong character. He’s often depicted as such a weak, poor boy who has to be rescued by Thor or the Avengers or whatever. They forget that he’s not only cunning but proud, determined and dedicated and if he’s committed to something he’d rather face death then admit defeat. Well, this is one reason why I loved your characterization.

Is there going to be a sequel? Or another short story? Or even just a drabble? Please, I adore this story and I’d love to continue reading your Norse fanfiction. You know just what to write to make me fall in love. *smothers you with hugs*

Great story! I love it when the characters use cleverness to win. Loki, of course would do that best. The dialogue was also good and sounded authentic. Good job!

The secret established relationship was unexpected, but sweet of course. Poor Loki if he needs to be half-dead so that they can have sex inconspiciously.

I love this story! I love the way you're writing Loki, so protective of his brother even as he is so out of place amongst the Asgardians (shapeshifter, witch). I'll be interested to find out how he managed to postpone his holmgang & how he intends to win it, already wounded as he is.

Also, you write actions scenes extremely well! Looking forward to more of this.
