I have never seen another story from this point of view...that John knew all the time. All the stuff that you had Moran spout are all valid statements. I love this story and cannot wait to see how the BBC show answers all your accusations. Great story!

This entire fic was... freaking awesome. I feel like I should use a more appropriate or for lack of a better term, 'fancy' words, but idefc. I've read quite a few fics now (I fee like i'm on a Johnlock binge) and haven't read one where John has been the subject of torture. i loved how... well, how high up there John was. He wasn't just the blogger or the skull or the lover, he went above and beyond in fooling his captor and in even sightly surprising Sherlock and Mycroft, I think. Being honest, every other fic i've read has portrayed Moran as yes, Sherlock's ex-something, but they almost always portrayed him as very strong and not very crazy. He would be in control, handsome, skilled, clever, murderous, etc. I think it' interesting how you portrayed him. He was kind of crazy, and I mean crazy more in obsessed with Sherlock and unable to get past the fact that Sherlock never loved him, dealing with al the emotions he must have gone through as his 'ex-john'. Although he had that obsession, that hint of recklessness that he showed his emotions so clearly when John started speaking and didn't hide them or show a different emotion on his face, he was clever. He was crazy, and clever, and strong and smart and handsome and just so much. Sorry if I went into critiquing you a bit, i really do love the fan fic and I can't wait for your other one to finish! I've finished the pondering one already. Anyway, I hope you have a great day/life!

So I finally found the time to finish reading it (that is, I stayed up until late at night to read the final chapters because they were really gripping). Once again: it was great. :) I liked especially that John was clever enough to deal with most of the danger himself, instead of passively waiting for Sherlock to rescue him as he does in many other stories. And also the way the relationship between Sherlock and John was presented - it's more than friendship, but they didn't kiss in the end or something like that, which was good, because that would have been too much at that point. And now I'm looking forward to the next one!

I'm only in chapter 4 now because I'm so busy writing my own stuff, but I just had to leave a comment because this story is great. Really fun to read, and so refreshingly different from most other fanfiction stories. Very much looking forward to reading the next chapters.
