Is this story abandoned? Because just WOW. The summary you provided haven't done your story justice.

Plot wise, it was enthralling. The mystery of what Caroline is, the buildup of Klaus' arrival, the bond between Elijah and Care. And the friendship between Caroline and Elena- which TVD and some fanfics were not able to portray very nicely. I get that there may be inevitable competition and jealousy between them (I was a teenager once too) and it's just easier for them to have a fallout or at least some tension. But both of them have been friends for a long time and I think it would send a stronger message for them to be supporting each other instead. As a fan, we know their characters individually and I think Elena is not the kind of person who would destroy such friendship easily nor is Caroline the kind that throws loyalty for shallow reasons and abandon her friends. So yes, thank you for a sincere friendship between Elena and Caroline.

Next for me to applaud is the actual OC story you added and which made all of it so interesting. It makes everything centered on Caroline but not at the same time. There is Klaroline but it wasn't the whole plot and all the other characters gets to shine. The new characters are also very interesting and I would have loved more interactions with them.

The story you made was so rich and colorful. It makes me want to read a prequel of some sort to understand them better because their history is far more complex and deep than that of the Originals.

And what I like best in this story is you made Caroline be that strong independent person that she is. Almost all fanfics I've read focused on Caroline as someone good for Klaus, loves Klaus and his redemption. I wanted a story where Caroline is more than that. That she is her own awesome person outside of the Klaus narrative. (And yes, there is nothing wrong with being a cheerleader. I really loved that scene.)

Last point I want to praise is how you have managed to portray the beauty and complexity of a siblings bond- from the Salvatore's, Mikaelsons' then to Caroline/Alice. I feel like there is more to the story on Caroline/Alice relationship. And I love that conversation between Elijah and Caroline about forgiveness. There are different facets of love and loyalty that you have shown and from where the story is going, some loyalties seems to be falling apart. I would love to read more and find out what happens.

And on a complete, unrelated and random question, was there a chance you planned to include Kol in the story? And btw, I'm glad you got rid of Mikael that way because he just looked so irrelevant at that point.

This is such a good story! I really hope that you do update this. It’s such an interesting take on the story. I can’t wait to read more in the future.

This story is so good! I finished readying what you've written far to soon and when I seen how long it's been since your last update, my heart literally broke :( this story is so amazing, it would be a shame if it's left unfinished, and I know it's been years since your last update but I can still hope that you find the time and motivation to complete this wonderful story. It's so well written and engages a reader from the very start. (I'm not gonna lie I did spot a few grammar mistakes along the way but they did nothing to deter just how captivating your words were). I for one was not able to figure out what Caroline was exactly in the beginning (My thoughts were that maybe she was a Norse Goddess) so it came as quite the shocker that she was one of the four horsemen. Your plotlines and ideas are unique, and I think you did a really amazing job at mixing the original show with these ideas and plotlines.

I have to say I don't like Elena in the show, she's just a selfish little girl that's to wishy washy for my tastes but I love her in your story. She's an actual friend in your story, she's supportive and wants what's best for Caroline, but she's willing to put her own prejudice for certain people aside so long as Caroline is happy, she makes it no illusion that she likes it but I like that she is there for her friend (the way she should have been in the show) she's not making false promises or trying to make Caroline lead her life based on what's best for Elena and this is not something Elena does in the show but tries to act like she does which grinds my gears to the max, so thank you for actually making Elena the person they try to portray in the show.

I'm interested to see how Matt/Malkom will deal with being changed/brought back. I feel sorry that he got caught up with the supernatural and he's paying the price for stuff he really has nothing to do with but I kind of like your subplot of him and Alice having something so I can't say I feel to to bad for him getting dragged into all the drama of the supernatural that makes up Mystic Falls (as horrible as that sounds lol). I still don't know exactly what to think of Alice, I like her and I don't at the same time, I feel like I'm missing certain pieces of the full story (obviously lol) so I can't make a sound decision until I do know the full story. She obviously loves Caroline and she wants a sister bond/relationship with her and from the looks of it has wanted that for a while now but I just can't get it put of my head that she stood ideally by well Victor murdered her Niece and her Niece's children. There has to be a reason why she did that, but regardless I do hope her and Caroline are able to work pass everything that's happened and start building a bond between themselves and start fresh.

I know this is a long review and I apologize for that lol but I have a lot of points to compliment on. This story has reviews in the hundreds but honestly it should be in the thousands. Getting back to my points though, I love the friendship you developed between Elijah and Caroline, i think with a bit of time on their part that friendship could develop into a sibling bond which would be awesome lol.

Okay now I love that this is a Klaus and Caroline fanfiction, I ship them 100%, I can't get enough of them. I just love how you've developed their relationship. I love how confused Klaus is about his feelings and how to make those feelings be projected outward without admitting those feelings. At this point in the story I don't think Caroline loves Klaus like Klaus loves her but I do think that she likes him more so then what she's realizing, I really want to know her reaction to him releasing her of the Blood Oath, because I honestly thinks that's going to be a tipping scale in Klaus's favor. I also love how subtle their relationship developed in your story, it was soft and not in your face like a lot of other stories that I've read. This is another relationship i feel needs a little bit more time to find it's footing to be something beyond what either party thinks it could be. Also I am a feminist to the max so I love that Caroline is a no non sense woman, I love that she's powerful, and I love ypur take on her being something fearful such as the Horseman of War but still having a goodness, a light that shines bright from within her. It's also amusing seeing how Klaus deals with not being the most powerful in the bunch lol.

It's actually kind of funny though because as much as i am a feminist (I am female hear me roar lol jk) I really, really like possessive, jealous Klaus (always have, always will lol) call me weird but that's when he's at his sexiest lmfao. Which brings me to Marik, I cannot stand that he feels he had any right to Caroline/War. He's shady to the max, and it wouldn't surprise me if he's actually the one who was the instigator in the falling out between Alice and Caroline. I know they say its because Alice choose to side with Victor and Caroline with Marik but there is more to the story and having seen how entitled he is I do think that maybe he had something to do with their complicated relationship in order to get Caroline/War to side with him and have her loyalty all to himself. Sometimes the obvious villains (i.e Victor) are not the ones who tear apart all the good there is.

Okay I'm gonna leave this review as it is because it's getting to be essay long lol I really enjoyed your story, and I really hope you finish it, I loved it beyond what words can express lol thank you for sharing it :)

I always love when caroline has powerful role and have some different power than others. and I have read many stories like that. But non of them were on this concept. I love this story.

you are very talented writer. I have read almost all your TVD fictions. and they are unique and fabulous. In this story I like how at first caroline and the voice were different and then she accepted powers and her transformation was amazing.

I like this story and I am going crazy to think about what gonna happen next. and you left on very crucial point when matt woke up.

This is such an incredible story. Making characters lovable even when they do terrible things is really difficult, and you did it perfectly. You are gifted, and I love your writing. Victor and Winna in love?! Such a plot twist! Well done. I can't wait to see how Matt's story works out. That's going to be fascinating, as will Alice's reaction. I also look forward to Caroline confronting Alice about her part in Victor's actions. And maybe sibling bonding? I hope you take this off hiatus soon, but I get it if you don't. This... is a bit too similar to canon to my tastes. I was expecting stuff to change drastically, and I had hope when she beat Katherin with her scream, but things are basically going back to canon, with her mum haitng her even if she's not a vampire, and all the other stuff staying similar to canon. I was expecting more divergence, and I just don't like the way it's gone. Just wanted to tell you this in case you find the information useful for your writing.
