You should make Edward ask all these questions and then make Alice keep quite so Edward doesn't find out, then have a 3 day time skip and have Bella get her powers back and then EMMET sees her at the cerimony and he tells her to keep quite about it but he can't and Edward hears about it and well you can do the rest... Hey, good story so far, maybe this is something where you can find some extra inspiration from. It's a song called Newgrange by Celtic Woman, sung by Orla. Just type in celtic woman newgrange in youtube and you should have it immediately. By my knowledge the song's about Ireland, but with the lyrics being what they are I think you can easyly get some inspiration for your story even though it is set in Schotland not Ireland.
