You right he's soooooooo poorly lonely not always the happy whoho person 24/7 hours.

Sometimes, I wondered how could he faked a smile that filled with pain and laughed infront of the others like normal. He's so strong to keep up his sanity in check.
The only wish he wants is to hold others together, glue them if he have to, he wants a family, a loving united family for god sake.

Woooooo. Yeah, this was an interesting exploration.
During the whole Blockbuster episode, Dick was anything BUT the happy-go-lucky guy everyone knows and loves him to be.
This is heartbreakingly beautiful. Poor Dickiebird!
I'm assuming this takes place during Battle of the Cowl and through Batman and Robin v1?

I've seen so many stories about an overly sappy Dick, and it's so irritating. Because you don't become a successful hero by acting as a total wimp. BUT some people like to write him like that, even when he's not. he's just not emotionally constipated.

I can totally see Dick on the ledge just staring down at the ground and Bruce looking very threatening as he told his first son he was going to punch him.

A good take on Dick's relationship with heights and the deeper levels of the character. He's a happy guy, but not all the time; and when he hits his low, he really hits the bottom. A good read.
