Ah. So sweet. Really, Elrond and Celebrían deserve all the warm fuzzies. So I am totally enjoying this story. Thanks for writing it.

I'll write you BA thesis for you! I literally just read all of this in one sitting, and I couldn't step away... You have amazing talent at writing, and you manage to portray Tolkien's world more eloquently and accurately than most of us would ever dream of. The work you've put into researching this alone...
I love the way you portray the relationship between Elrond and Celebrian, which is one of my absolute favourites... You have touched on mostly all of the points which make me love Elrond so much, even if this lovestruck Elrond seems a little out of character for me at times. And the notion of rehousing, and all those members of the house of Finwe returning from the halls of Mandos had never really crossed my mind before. I pictured Finrod as a singular case because he is the only one mentioned in canon, and because I love him. And Galadriel. I love how she always has something meaningful and mysterious to say, though I wouldn't mind if there was more of her around in this story. But don't mind me, we're all bound to have favourites here. The relationship between Ereinion and Celebriniel (which I saw coming the moment she proposed to him, by the way :p) is so lovely, well thought out and fascinating. And Elrond's reaction is exactly what I'd think it would be. Anyway, all I can say is, amazing work, and I'll gladdly wait to see what comes next.

You probably have already noticed this but IT'S BEEN ALMOST SEVEN YEARS! Which is not only painful but incredibly sad. Surely university can't take that long. And while I understand that after seven years another update may be a little difficult, I strongly remind you to remember your readers. I am certain that everyone who has read this story is dying to know more and see what happens between Ereinion and story is brilliant so please don't leave it hanging like this.

I kind of get the feeling that Eru intended elves to be reincarnated into their families - but then all the women gathered together and sait ''Bloody hell, NO! We are NOT getting pregnant twice!''

Then Eru told them that elflings will come back as babies and the women said "Oh, nonono, we are NOT breastfeeding AGAIN!" and there was much muttering...

So then Eru agreed that elves should come back as young adults.

I love what you've done with Ereinion. He's recognisable and new at the same time. Such a cute ending idea in this chapter. It really highlights the friendship between Elrond and Gil galad.

I guess it's abandoned from now on, as it was last updated at 2005, yet after 40 chapters it's okay. lol.

It's a wonderful, lovely fic. Thanks so much for writing it!

As per usual, I have been mean and left my reviewing to the end! (A bad habit, I know, sorry!)

I LOVE this story. There are far too few El/Bri fics out there, and to find a gem as well written as this is just.. well, Heaven! You have the characters perfect, I can feel myself moving alongthe moods and events with them. obviously, El and bri are excellent, but I must triply congratulate you on Eerionion- you are the only person so far to succeed in letting me see him as Gil, but younger.

I forget, did you give the reason for Bri wanting to go back to Imloth? Because in my mind, the way she acted when suggesting it to El, I have this huge 8babyontheway* feeling! lol. Maybe it is just me, but I cannot seem to get enough of either lovey-dovey nor father El. He really is good with kids... _

I did notice a few typos and word ommissions sprinkled throughout, but they are barely noticeable (I'm a bit of a spelling/grammar Nazi)and don't detract from the story, so if you ever get time to reread and correct them, do, but I don't see a pressing need to do it now!

I wait impatiently for the next installment!

I think I must first say 'good luck!' since you haven't updated this fic in a good three years. I'm hoping your schedule will clear up a little so you can come back to this fic 'cause I would very much like to see the outcome.

And, well, I don't think I am eloquent enough with words to say how much I love your writing and your stories. So I'll just be terse and say that I love YOU, especially. And again, I hope that you will find the time again to pick up this project once more. ) Other than that, I do not think that I have anything else to say.

Okay, well, I'm only halfway through and I just wanted to drop in and blurt out some stuff that's been accumulating in my mind.

They're related somehow, right? You keep writing 'cousins' though I daresay that almost all the elves are related in some way or another, even if it weren't by marriage.

Also, I noticed that you haven't thrown Erestor with anyone (yet). Any reason for that, hmm? Hehe.

Meh, I think I'm just kinda babbling right now and since I highly doubted I would remember all of this by the time I finish all that you have up so far I just felt that I just had to. . . bleh. Y'know, word vomit, lol.

In any case, I think I should stop my babbling and continue reading and yeah. Uh, until then, I guess. *shuffles off*

I have very much enjoyed your insight into Ereinion / Gil-Galad. Your writing has been thoughtful and believable. Celebriniel is very sweet. I have also enjoyed reading about Elrond and Celebrian's relationship. You truly bring these characters alive in your story. Thank you for writing such a wonderful piece.

I agree, it's almost irresponsible to leave this story unfinished. Especially those of us who have been reading this story for years.

This is such a wonderful story! I have only recently found A Tale of Elrond and Celebrian, as well as this story, and I find them both to be excellent! Your writing flows very well and the characters are realistic, none of them being absolutely perfect. Please Please Please update, if you get a chance. It would be a shame for this story to remain unfinished.0.

You had me, and I think quite a few others, fooled with the beginning of this chapter. I loved Celebrían's: ‘...nearly caught by my parents.’ As if they have not been married for years. *snorts* Just another great chapter and eagerly awaiting a new one.
