I’m bothered that Sookie feels so much about collecting the dust of the dead fairies & the families of the weres, but doesn’t seem to bother even thinking about the goo piles of the dead vampires, the goblins, trolls, etc. Someone ‘pure of heart’ & supposed to be so caring should be concerned about all the deaths & left behind family & blood tied vampires too. It seems like her biggest concern regarding the dead vampires is their blood staining her carpets.

I’m guessing the B2B team is there to stay with the predictions that Eric & Sookie will be having many more children. Tough luck for the rest of the baby-making a Supe population.

It just occurred to me that everyone in the the B2B team should have known that the babies would be wanting contact with just family their first day & shouldn’t have been surprised at the babies rejecting them getting close. They did say they had assisted with several other Fae births. So, why didn’t they already know?

It’s silly I guess, but by the end I’m left thinking of two adults & five new babies all laying in a wet, oozy bed for hours until the bubble is gone. Happy, but maybe a lot less comfortable than the ideal.

And it looks like the Ancient’s blood will be needed for something during the battle...

WooHoo! One of the rare moments I’m entirely behind & rooting for Sookie’s choice of action. I think she ought to do the same thing to Pam so she’ll lay-off goading both Eric & Sookie.

I know it’s waaaaayy too late to weigh-in on how the events should go, I couldn’t resist adding my thoughts. I’d hate to see the wedding disrupted by the birth since Sookie is so dead set on being married before the kids are born, although I personally don’t see what difference it should make. It would also suck to have them born during the fighting because E&S want certain people there for the birth. If the fight is going on all would be distracted & most absent. Eric’s attentions would be torn whether he was at the birth or off in the fight. If the fight begins after the wedding & then the birth, then maybe Sookie & the babies could have a small part to play. Maybe someone is a betrayer, maybe a sleeper, & somehow slips through the security to mom & babies so, after a piece of the puzzle is revealed, they blast the betrayer, giving daddy just one more thing to crow about by the end.

Now — onward to see what was actually written...

Oh, I love the TB rants! Spot on. I didn’t see the series until long after it finished, but the experience was the same. Unfortunately, CH’s SVM book series took a similar downward spiral that was just awful. The Sookie character & the Eric character from the earlier books were not the Sookie and Eric of the latter books. Eric is an exceptional character & CH really flushed a lot of potential down the toilet by sending him back into a slavery situation while replacing him in Sookie’s life with Sam the mediocre mutt who lusted after Sookie, but always treated her like a stupid child. She took a promising Sookie from the earlier books & devolved her into a stupid, shrieking, narrow-minded banshee happy to spend the rest of her life pretending to be a normal human running a greasy bar instead of the Supe she is who could have been doing great & interesting things in the Supes world at large. Foolish CH.

Their consciences are safe with Godric, but with Eric leaving to hunt/track, what/who keeps their bodies safe?

Erica wants him up during the day, but Ludwig tells him to go to ground. Why the latter?

Why would Sookie have more than one uterus? Fairies get more than one? I thought the story was she had babies in two different placentas inside her (singular) uterus.

Now that Eric has put his foot down with Pam about her shoe obsession, it would be a good time to tell her to lay-off trying to goad Sookie into multiple sex partners, her in particular. He drew a little line about her trying to persuade him to go back to being with more than Sookie. I know the SVM/TB rule is vampires don’t do monogamy so the Eric/Sookie situation is an oddity, but he told Sookie he was satisfied with just her. Was he lying?

I’m surprised at the open flow of people into the room while Eric is at rest. I get that these are meant to be trusted folks, but still, it seems like a bad idea.

So to answer your question , as to whether people expect them monogamous, Yes! WTF!? Would be the point of reading a supernatural “Love” story that doesn’t have eternal Love? Love, doesn’t get boring because you have sex with the same person again and again because you never stop falling in Love. You grow together and that fire and passion burns eternally. The adventure in sex is with the one you Love ALONE . If you have to to share it’s because, you don’t have it, the eternal flame. This story of Eric and Sookie you made them less than every other Eric and Sookie Story because Eric wants and is planning on others in his life, not Sookie alone. He loves Pam and Nora the way he loves Sookie in this story. He cheated by kissing Nora. If Sookie did that, Eric would’ve felt betrayed. And what’s worse you actually had her children siding with Nora. You should change the pairing so it’s truthful. To Eric and everyone. Then no can be upset because at least you were honest.

I normally leave only one comment at the end of the story, but I'm finding I need to take the time early to tell you that your entire story is just magical and beautiful. I know it's been a few years since the series ended, but it's new to me, so thank you for your talent!

I have loved this series way more than the actual show or books. The show is just bleh and the books are just twilight with out the sparkles on the vampires. But you have created something that is AMAZING. I would catch myself waiting at work until my break just so i could read more. Congratulations you did an amazing job.
