Ok, that was great. :) This is yet another one of your one-shots that could totally be made into something longer. Would Edward and the Cullens really just let her go, or would they come after her and Jake and try to get her back? The wolves can't really leave La Push, at least not permanently, and Jake is still meant to be the Chief of the tribe one day, so what would happen when he and Bella returned together? How would the rest of the pack react to her involvement with the rightful alpha given that she isn't an imprint and was formerly involved with a vampire? And of course, what happens when the Volturi discover that she has broken her vow to become an immortal? This is an amazing start to the story that every Team Jacob twifan ever has wanted to read, and I can't help wondering where it would go...

Great Story!

Normally I stay away from Jacob/Bella stories but I really liked this one very well done.

There are so many things I love about this fic. The nod to audreyiii's Postcards, which is such a good story. I like how the wolves set up a meeting between Bella and Jake, so they could talk before was such a jerk sending out invitations to Jake and Renee without consulting Bella first. That's one of the things that pisses me off about him, his blatant disregard for Bella's thoughts, feelings and opinions.

It was good that Jake and Bella hashed out what happened between them from the battle till now. Its good to get it all off their chest and into the open. I really liked seeing Bella actually think about the differences between how Edward and Jake treat her. I'm not an huge fan of either, but even I can tell that Jake is better person for Bella. I'm glad she chose Jake in the end, and I loved you utualized Bella's knowledge of Alice's gift to let the Cullens know that she's breaking the engagement. Usually it would be better to do this is person, but we all knew that Edward, and some of the other Cullens would gang up on her over it.

Typically, I'm not a Jacob/Bella fan, but you wrote this very well. I could see it all happening just like you wrote it.

Quil was funny. Perfect one to sneak into *that* car and hijack Bella away. For the plan to work, the whole pack had to be in on it and one gets the feeling they did it for their *brother* Jake. they had to try and give him a chance.

Loved it. It bears continuing though. Great set up for a half insane Edward, desperate to have his bride and his white wedding and his honeymoon. Which would be delightful as a Darkward fic. Actually ...I haven't run into a fic that explores that he knows she would drop everything and piss off/scare everyone around her to rush halfway around the world and stop him from committing suicide... again. Mind you, I avoid emoward fics. He has 100 years of experience and wisdom behind him, he shouldn't have the mentality of a 14 year old losing his first girlfriend… in my opinion.
